Mason Jar gift option included
Dry ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup raisins
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 cups rolled oats
Wet ingredients:
1 cups (2 stick or 16 Tb) butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
Mix wet ingredients until well combined. Add dry. Let batter sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350F. or until edges are set. Let cool three minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack for an additional 5 min.
*Mason jar option: Layer all dry ingredients in a 1 quart (1 liter) mason jar. When ready to bake, mix wet ingredients in a large bowl. Add contents of mason jar. Stir well. Let batter sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350F.
