Large Chunk Granola



1/2 cup of your favorite oil (any will work)

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 Tablespoon vanilla

5 cups old fashioned, rolled oats

3 cups mix-ins of your choice, for example: raisins, cranberries, nuts, seeds, coconut shreds.


Mix all wet ingredients in large bowl. Add oats and 3 cups of mix-ins. Mix thoroughly. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour granola into baking sheet and push firmly into the pan. Cook for 30 min at 325. Let cool thoroughly at least one hour or until completely cool. Store in airtight container.


Mason jar option - this recipe should make at least 3 mason jars of 1 quart or 6 pint jars.
